- 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Meet your Tour Guide at Chongqing Airport/Train station/Chonging Hotel
- 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Transfer to Chongqing City Center by Private Vehicle
- 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Arrive at Chaotianmen Cruise Terminal and board the Yangtze River Cruise
- 9:00 PM: Depart Chongqing/Set sail on the Yangtze River Cruise
- 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM: Morning at leisure onboard (activities such as TaiChi etc.)
- 9:00 AM -11:00 AM: Shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost City (subject to availability)

Detailed Tour Itinerary:
Day 1 – Stay overnight on the Yangtze River Cruise
Arrive in Chongqing, where your guide will greet you at the Chongqing Airport/Chongqing Railway Station or your Chongqing Hotel. Transfer to Chongqing City Center to explore this lively city before traveling to Chaotianmen Dock.
Board your luxurious Yangtze River Cruise and set sail, taking in Chongqing’s illuminated skyline and picturesque surroundings. Let the peaceful river breeze set the tone for your adventure and enjoy the evening onboard at your leisure.
Day 2 – Stay overnight on the Yangtze River Cruise
Wake up onboard the Yangtze River Cruise to the tranquil beauty & scenery along the Yangtze River. Start your morning with Tai Chi on the sundeck and enjoy a refreshing cup of coffee or tea.
Mid-morning, join a guided excursion to Fengdu Ghost City (subject to availability), known for its mystical legends and eerie sculptures.
Continue your journey exploring the Yangtze River with scenic river views and in the evening, enjoy onboard entertainment and a sumptuous dinner as your ship sails deeper into the heart of China.
Day 3 – Stay overnight along the Yangtze River Cruise
Enjoy your morning at leisure onboard the Yangtze River Cruise. Marvel at the natural wonders of the Yangtze as your ship passes through the dramatic Qutang and Wu Gorges. Join a smaller boat excursion to the Shennu Stream or the Lesser Three Gorges, where you’ll see towering peaks and ancient cliffside coffins.
Wrap up your day with the Captain’s Farewell Party (held on the final night of the cruise), celebrating your cruise experience with lively performances. Enjoy the remainder of your evening at leisure.
Day 4 – Stay overnight in Wulingyuan
To begin the day, disembark the cruise and join a guided tour of the colossal Three Gorges Dam, the world’s largest hydropower project. Following the tour, your time at the Yangtze River will conclude with a transfer to Yichang Railway Station for a scenic high-speed train ride to Zhangjiajie.
Upon arrival into Zhangjiajie, your local tour guide will take you to your hotel in Wulingyuan – your base for exploring the incredible landscapes of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Evening at leisure.
Day 5 – Stay overnight in Wulingyuan
In the morning, your tour guide and driver will meet you at your Wulingyuan Hotel to begin the day exploring Zhangjiajie National Park. Transfer to the park entrance and begin your exploration of the park with a cable car ride to Huangshi Village for panoramic views of towering sandstone pillars.
Thereafter, hike along the Golden Whip Stream – a spectacular scenic attraction surrounded by lush forests and playful monkeys.
In the afternoon, transfer to Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon and brace yourself for a thrilling walk across the Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge, the world’s longest and highest glass-bottom bridge. This bridge offers incredible and breathtaking views of the canyon below. Explore Zhangjiajie Valley and return transfer to your Wulingyuan Hotel to enjoy the remainder of your night at leisure.
Day 6 – Stay overnight in Zhangjiajie City
Todays’s itinerary feature more of Zhangjiajie National Park, where we will explore attractions not visited during yesterday’s itinerary. Meet your guide and driver at your hotel lobby (early) and transfer to the Zhangjiajie National Park entrance. To commence the day, we will visit Yuanjiajie, made famous/as the inspiration for the floating Hallelujah Mountains in Avatar. Ascend via the Bailong Elevator, the world’s tallest outdoor lift and hike through misty sandstone formations.
Thereafter, visit Tianzi Mountain for sweeping views of Zhangjiajie’s surreal landscapes. Highlights include the First Bridge, a natural stone wonder connecting two peaks. Following today’s itinerary, transfer to your Zhangjiajie City Hotel and enjoy the afternoon/evening at leisure.
Day 7 – Stay overnight in Zhangjiajie City/END OF TOUR
Meet your tour guide in the morning and depart to Tianmen Mountain. Upon arriving, board a cable car and ascend Tianmen Mountain via the world’s longest cableway, offering stunning mountain views. Walk along the Guigu Cliffside Path and visit the historic Tianmen Mountain Temple. Thereafter, descend to Tianmen Cave, a massive natural arch, via the Transmountain Escalator. Finish your visit to Tianmen Mountain and tour by taking the “Stairway to Heaven” down 999 steps before your transfer to the airport, train station or hotel to conclude your tour.
