Detailed Tour Itinerary:
In the morning, your private tour guide and driver will meet you at your Hangzhou hotel lobby. We recommend starting around 8:30 am to make the most of your day exploring Hangzhou’s iconic sights.
Your first stop will be the picturesque West Lake, where you’ll board a boat for a relaxing cruise. As you glide across the tranquil waters, you’ll take in the scenic beauty of this UNESCO World Heritage site, with its traditional pagodas, lush greenery, and mist-covered hills in the background.
After disembarking at Huagang Park Wharf, you’ll have time to explore Huagang Park. Known for its serene landscapes, the park is home to the famous Red Carp Pond and tranquil pavilions nestled among colorful gardens. From there, you’ll continue to Lingyin Temple, one of China’s most significant Buddhist temples. Nestled in the mountains, Lingyin Temple offers not only spiritual tranquility but also stunning rock carvings and ancient stone statues.
After a morning of exploration, you’ll stop for lunch at a local restaurant, with both traditional Chinese and international cuisine options available. Your guide will be happy to recommend a restaurant/cuisine based on your preferences.
In the afternoon, you’ll head to the Longjing Tea Plantation, where you’ll learn about the time-honored process of cultivating and producing the famous Dragon Well tea. Stroll through the terraced fields, surrounded by lush tea bushes, and enjoy a tasting session where you can sample fresh, locally grown tea.
After your visit to the plantation, you’ll return to your Hangzhou hotel, marking the end of your tour. You’ll have the evening free to relax and reflect on your day exploring one of China’s most beautiful cities. END OF TOUR.
